Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Queen Noor College of Aviation celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of ministers, senior officials, representatives of the Jordan Armed Forces and security agencies, directors of key institutions in Marka District, managers of companies operating at Amman Civil Airport, members of the academic and administrative staff, students of the college, and representatives of the local community. In his address during the ceremony, Dr. Farhan Aref Al-Mashaqbeh, Director General of Queen Noor College of Aviation, emphasized that Independence Day remains a landmark national occasion through which Jordanians proudly reflect on the sacrifices and achievements that contributed to the establishment and advancement of the modern Jordanian state. He noted that the ongoing process of development and modernization, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, continues to reinforce Jordan’s position as a model of security, stability, and excellence. Dr. Al-Mashaqbeh further highlighted the college’s commitment to its national mission of preparing highly qualified professionals for the civil aviation sector and contributing to Jordan’s development and modernization efforts, underscoring the importance of investing in education and training as a foundation for the nation’s future. The celebration featured a documentary presentation showcasing Jordan’s journey of independence and the Kingdom’s achievements over the past eight decades, in addition to a variety of national, cultural, and artistic performances that reflected the values of loyalty, belonging, and pride in the homeland and its Hashemite leadership. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Farhan Aref Al-Mashaqbeh, Director General of Queen Noor College of Aviation, presented a commemorative shield to His Excellency the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court in appreciation of his patronage of the event and in recognition of this cherished national occasion. During the ceremony, Dr. Al-Mashaqba emphasized that this achievement represents a significant milestone in developing specialized competencies and enhancing the efficiency and safety of air navigation. He commended the participants for their dedication and professionalism, highlighting the importance of cooperation and integration in advancing the civil aviation sector at both regional and international levels. He also expressed the College’s pride in its collaborative relations with partners in the Syrian Arab Republic, reaffirming its commitment to providing technical and training support to further develop human capacities in the aviation sector and to strengthen the exchange of expertise between both sides.
