Queen Noor Aviation University College

Queen Noor Aviation University College is a specialized university-level educational institution dedicated to providing academic and applied education in the fields of aviation and various other disciplines. It represents an extension of a well-established journey that began in the year 1973 as a training center, with the support of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

In 1986, the College was officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education as a community college under the name Queen Noor Technical College, where it offered two-year diploma programs in addition to specialized training courses. In 1990, the college became one of the founding members of an ICAO program, through which it gained a distinguished reputation in preparing technically qualified personnel for the aviation sector.

In line with the rapid development in the aviation industry and the evolving needs of the labor market, the college underwent a qualitative transformation in 2025 to become a university college granting bachelor’s degrees, alongside technical programs and various diploma certificates, in accordance with locally and internationally accredited academic and professional standards.

The college is committed to providing an integrated educational environment that combines advanced theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training. This is supported by a highly experienced academic staff and modern infrastructure, including specialized laboratories and training centers, contributing to the graduation of qualified cadres capable of competitiveness and innovation in the aviation sector and beyond.

Queen Noor Aviation University College operates under the supervision of Al Balqa Applied University, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, moving forward with confidence and competence based on an ambitious strategic vision. This vision aims to prepare graduates who possess scientific competence, practical skills, and professional commitment, and who are capable of making an effective contribution to supporting the civil aviation sector, other sectors, serving the nation, and enhancing the path of sustainable development.
Queen Noor Aviation University College also includes a group of specialized training and educational centers operating under the supervision of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). These centers aim to support the educational process and enhance students’ competencies. Among the most prominent are the Aviation Safety Center, the Air Navigation Training Center, and the ICAO Regional Center for Civil Aviation Security Training
