• Introduction & course outline. • Legal aspects(Chicago convention, Annex 18, Technical instructions for the safe transport of dangerous goods by air, IATA DGR) • Shipper’s responsibility. • Operator’s responsibility. • Limitations • Classification. • Identification. • Packing. • Marking & Labeling. • Documentation. • Acceptance, handling and loading.

Course Aim: 

The course is designed to provide all staff involved in the consignment, packing, documentation, carriage, or handling of dangerous goods by air, with the general familiarization and knowledge of dangerous goods regulations so as to enhance safety.

Who Should Attend: 

- Airworthiness and Operations Government Inspectors. - Civil defense. - Agencies engaged in the security screening of passengers and their cargo. - ATC. - Operators - Shippers of DG, including packers and shipper’s agent. - Agencies which perform the act of accepting, handling, loading, unloading, transfer or other processing of cargo. Agencies other than operators involved in processing passengers and cargo.
