Power sources, diesel engines, diesel supply. Principle of Operation of Single Phase & Three Phase Generating Systems, Excitation Systems (Separate, Self), Load Control, Voltage Control (AVR), Synchronizing Process, Protection Relays for Generating Unit, Earthing Systems, Circuit Breakers & Fuses, UPS & Batteries.
Course Aim:
To improve the capability of electrical maintenance personnel in dealing with electrical systems and apparatus.
